Domain Authority (DA)
What is domain authority (da)?
Domain Authority is a 1–100 third-party score, created by Moz, that predicts how likely a domain is to rank in search results. It is a comparison metric, not a Google ranking factor.
Why it matters
DA is useful for comparing prospects quickly: a DA 60 publication is generally a stronger placement than a DA 15 blog, all else equal.
It can be manipulated, so pair it with organic traffic estimates, topical relevance, and a manual look at whether the site publishes genuine editorial content.
